Fantastic hospital. From the front desk folks to the docs, they were always warm and nurturing. Dr. Green is a top notch surgeon! May be more expensive but if your pet needs some high level care, this is the place to go.

Amazing! My kitten got a fish hook stuck in his cheek and they removed it fast, without having to sedate him and without charging me and arm and leg!

Very disappointed with the care. We brought our dog, Rocky Weires, in very late at night at the recommendation of our Estes Park vet. Our vet had been treating Rocky all week and had prescribed his first course of antibiotics. His temperature rose to106 degrees and EP vet couldn't treat. After checking him in, they hooked up an IV and administered several antibiotics. This was on a Saturday. They said they needed to do an MRI and spinal tap. However, before these tests were preformed on Monday, his fever broke. Had they told us his fever had broken we would never have authorized the tests (you have to give them your credit card before they will see and treat your dog). To add insult to injury, they charged $2,500 for a test (MRI) our vet would have charged $1,200. They were never able to diagnosis his problem and wanted to do more testing. After spending over $5,000, we declined to have additional tests run. I do not begrudge any charges incurred prior to his temperature breaking. Just the charges for over-testing. I am disappointed, in general, with our experience with this clinic. Last time i take my dog there.

The staff is amazing, they truly care about your pet and go above and beyond to try and get them well. I have taken multiple German Shepard's here when the regular vet can't figure out what the problem is.

This review is a long time in coming.... Our miniature schnauzer Lutefisk swallowed a [human] prescription medication that had been dropped on the floor, and he suddenly began to fail. I rushed him on that snowy Thanksgiving night to VCA, and Dr. Wight gave him immediate, thorough, and compassionate care. Lutie owes his life to her. Thank you so very much, Dr. Wight! We trust you implicitly with our fuzzy children.
