Story

In 2005, we opened Affordable Auto Sales of Chambersburg, PA with a vision to finance everyone, but at the same time build a relationship and graduate our customers to bank financing. We wanted to have quality automobiles at affordable prices. We have had customers start out as "Buy here, pay here" and then work their way to good credit and bank financing. In 2012, we opened our 2nd location, Affordable Auto Sales of Waynesboro, PA and in 2015 we opened Affordable Auto Sales of Frederick.

I just bought a Jeep from John at Affordable Auto. They had the specific vehicle I was looking for for a very reasonable price and in great shape! I walked in and was test driving the vehicle in a few minutes. The sale process was easy with no pressure (and very quick - got to love that which is why I went with 5 rather than 4 stars). The last dealer I went to dragged out the sale process/paperwork for an hour, today I was in the office for less than 15 minutes. I do not hesitate to recommend Affordable Auto, and would do business with them again.

I wanted to take a moment to write a review about Affordable Auto Sales of Frederick. As the old cliche' goes - first impression is a lasting one. My first impression was outstanding. Mr. John Hammond is an honest, friendly and overall great man. First of all, it’s hard to have a “good” experience when purchasing a vehicle. It’s just not set up for enjoyment. I have purchased quite a few vehicles over the years and I can count on one hand minus 2 fingers “having a good experience”. John changed my thinking on that. Everything was seamless. I will say that your dealership is one of those encounters based entirely on your salesperson, John Hammond. His experience, leadership and listening skills are impeccable. I explained that I had been through the “process” many times before and wanted to skip the “back and forth” and get down to brass tacks. He took my suggestion and accomplished my request. I appreciated that he “listened” to what we were looking for and what we could afford. He and the financial officer made it happen. I find John and Randy(Finance Mgr) to be the key to purchasing at your establishment. Future Salesmen need to learn from this seasoned man!! I also had a good experience with your “financial” employee Randy. He really worked hard on our file. I look forward to dealing with your service department and hope that experience will be similar. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone!! - JoAnn Minton
