Having taken every other art classes in school, I did't think "martial arts" would be my thing. However, the deal between my dad and I for going off to college was for me to take self-defense classes. After a couple months of training with Sensei Schwartz and others in the class, my dad saw a video of me training being posted on the Facebook page. I saw the peace that came from his eyes to send me off. As for myself, I have learned tremendous amounts of self-defense skills to protect myself. It might be very awkward in the beginning, but EVERYONE in the class is extremely friendly and willing to teach you until you get the techniques. They have once been in your shoes before they are promoted to yellow, blue, green, purple, brown, or black belts. I will miss the people that I trained with tremendously!

Step by step instructions. No competition, just learning.  Great way to work off a few pounds while learning self-defense. Very practical.

Excellent Martial Arts School with system for individual, documented learning progress, disciplined but relaxed, everybody is helpful with each other, minimal risk of injury, develops mind and body. Standard form as well as real-life applications are taught. Small groups with maximum attention by Sensei. No contract!!

GREAT SENSAI, very knowledgeable and patient with the students.  Watching the students from school age to adult class.  Everyone is very dedicated and willing to learn.  I even known some of my son's teachers there learning aikido and enjoying it very much.  I highly recommend it to everyone.  It certainly help with you defends skills, strenght, agility, and most of all respect and confidence.
