Story

Family Fitness Centers’ mission is to help individuals and families take control of their health. We will provide the knowledge, the education and the motivation necessary for individuals and families to pursue optimal wellness. Family Fitness Centers will only promote science based, clinically proven wellness programs which focus on proper exercise, nutrition and scientifically proven supplementation. Through our efforts we can and will create healthier and happier communities.

Had a very nice experience with this particular gym. The manager was a very professional and courteous lady while signing me up for the duration of my stay. The morning guy even remembered my name so I didn't have to hassle for my keys. Would be nice to see some in my area.

Great facility in terms of equipment. Very well laid out and plenty of variety and options between free-weights, machines and cross fit apparatus if that's your poison. Though it certainly doesn't apply to all, the staff are usually hit or miss relative to their service and hospitality, beyond a slight glance from their windowed cubicles. As a business operator, watching three staff members this morning (for at least the past hour) socializing at the front counter is frustrating. This is the case most days. I would have seriously reduced my staffing model by at least two bodies per shift if they have that much time on their hands. Members (including myself) are often be seen organizing disheveled weights left on the floor and leaning on equipment. It's clearly not the job of those employed to do the organizing. I've yet to see a staff member on the floor, at any point for any reason. Great facility with little to no oversight. Hand wipes installed throughout the gym would also help members in cleaning equipment after use.

The roof was always leaking, rendering machines and certain areas unusable. Multiple machines were always broken. They have a ton of machines sure... except that whole families would come to work out, husband, wife, and 3-5 kids under the age of like 12. The husband and wife would each get on a machine and their children would run around playing on the machines. More than once I would be on the stair machine and a small child would get on the one next to me and start it, climbing on their hands and knees. If I said anything to staff they would do nothing. Just seems like a safety hazard to allow children to run around unsupervised, especially when they offer child care. I've also witnessed more than once men taking pictures/video of the women who are there to work out. Nothing was done about that either despite multiple people complaining. The bathrooms were redone, except the stalls were always flooded and soaking wet from people at the pool. Oh and hopefully you don't like using toilet paper, there was never any. But you know what there is a ton of? People's gross tissues and paper towels wadded up in the cup holders of the machines. Fun anticdote, I thought I accidentally left my headphones there once. So I go back two hours after I worked out and ask the front desk staff if any were found. They looked at me like I was speaking another language. Then told me that if I had left headphones that was my fault and they were probably long gone from someone else picking them up and keeping them. I asked if they had a lost and found and would they please just check. The girl rolled her eyes, went into the office, where I could hear her complaining about me asking her to check, that she wasn't going to, and that I was being stupid for even asking. She then came back out and told me "she looked everywhere and couldn't find them". Thankfully they had just fallen under the seat in my truck. But seriously? Your staff suggested they were more likely stolen and refused to even look. On the plus side cancelling my membership was super easy.

They gave me two different prices for membership trying to change and up sell to the higher price when I called back not leaving me the cheaper of the two. It was like a used car dealership. I was going to pay upfront. To the owner thanks for the obvious.

I am looking for a gym that has a daycare or a play area for the kids while I do my routine. I never been to this place therefore I had to check it out. THE STAFF IS RUDE! To the point that I never got to the walk around. If I am going to receive disrespectful service at the door when I am wanting to buy..... how are they going to treat my children when I am busy working out? I DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. After reading other reviews about the leaking roof and other stuff just confirms my point.
