This place is so much fun! Close to DC, with dozens of awesome restaurants, bars, plus a play beach for kids, carousel, playground, etc. Parking is not free. Lots of streets to stroll, and a good mix of vacation retail and shops. There's quite a bit of nightlife, it can get crazy busy on the weekends.

A very nice clean area to walk around. In the winter make sure you dress warm as the breeze off the water makes it very chilly! There is a good amount of places to eat and a few stores I had went in. I would recommend walking around if you are in the area.

Great place to get away and relax when the weather is nice. Lots of food options, some are a bit pricey. Good photo ops, shopping,  and just walking around to enjoy the view. Easy to get in and put and parking at one of the garages isn't too expensive. Overall a nice place to spend a few hours.

Great place to visit. The wheel is great! Nice restaurants etc. take your kids there!
