The restaurant is so unique and looks so authentically German! I loved all the German food and beer! If you ski 20,000 vertical feet then you get a free beer! The service was amazing also! BJ our server catered to everything I could ask for and the bartender, Drew, was so knowledgeable about all the history of the draft beers! A truly wonderful experience and such a great staff!! 5 stars out of 5! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic German experience!

A perfect way to end a vacation! The quality of food far exceeded my expectations and the service was impeccable. By far the best German cuisine I've had in 20 years. I will definitely go back to Almresi the next time I am in town!

Drew, the bartender, is by far one of the most capable and amazing I have ever met. I would encourage anyone to come in, sit by the bar , and get to know him.  Then ask him to suggest a drink. He went 4 for 4. Absolutely speechless

You can just tell when the management and owners of a restaurant care about customer experience. I highly recommend Almresi in Vail. From the moment we walked in we knew it would be special. The drinks, appetizers (flat bread), mains and sides (pork shank and a beef dish), desserts and after dinner warm drinks were all spot on and delicious. (Beautiful presentation as well) The staff appeared to be so happy to serve and they  seem proud of the restaurant. Really friendly. To top it off...the space is adorable...whoever designed this place (including the glassware, plates and table settings) deserves an award.  Layers of details are evident throughout. Just go! :)

Such a wonderful and beautiful place we stumbled upon. By far the best service we experienced in Vail over a week’s time. We had the “eat your hat” which was such a unique meal, and it seemed like every employee came by our table to talk with us and help us with our “hat”. So, so sweet and wonderful and friendly and delicious.
