Staying at this hotel for a business trip. The hotel is very clean and has a cool modern design. I find the bedding to be comfortable and the large TV in the room is great. I haven't had any issues finding a parking spot, which is always a great thing. Overall a very positive experience thus far.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room cleanliness was questionable. Specifically the floor. Walking barefoot in the room really tells you how well they clean when you end up with black feet and have to wipe off everything that has stuck to your feet do you're not sleeping in it. Parking... I was lucky, got there early enough and didn't leave. But after I parked, I noticed the lot was full every time I walked by. For ice, you have to go to the front desk. Thought that was weird. Finally, maybe I just had bad luck... But I was put on a floor where at least 3 rooms had their doors open all evening and a party where people were hanging out loudly in the hall floating between rooms till about 10. After that they closed the doors but the floating between rooms still went on till much later. I know this because a door would slam shut followed several people talking very loudly and again another door slamming shut. I guess that is why there were earplugs left on the nightstand. This is the first Aloft I've stayed at where I had a problem. And the first Aloft I would not recommend staying at because of everything I encountered. Also, if you book online for a small discount you get the disabled/accessibility room.

Do you like being able to hear not only the other occupants in different rooms but enjoy also the quality and comfort of IKEA furniture? No? Me neither. The saving grace of this place is its staff, they were great. That being said being able to hear the birdy chime of the crosswalk indicators isn't all that enjoyable when played with the background music of your neighbor's urination. If you have conference calls with sensitive information don't do them here. Most things seemed designed poorly and I pity the maintenance staff for most likely having to repair things left and right.

I'm a huge fan of aloft hotels as an SPG family of Westin. But this location.....not so much. My room was on the street with large open windows. So if I wanted to open my curtain in the morning. Everyone could see me. Glad I was only there 1 night.

The bar is directly in the lobby - so convenient place for friends to meet for drinks!
