I have been a patient of Alta California Medical Group since 1984. My experience has always been tremendously positive. Recently I had two appointments with Smita Metha, PA-C, due to a very painful & personal tragedy and I was dealing with severe PTSD. I was very distraught and crying hysterically at times during the first appointment. Smita was so compassionate and caring and gave me such comfort during one of the most tragic times in my life. I am ever so grateful that Alta California Medical Group has amazing people, like Smita, who care so much for their patients. I don’t think I would have been able to get through this horrific event as quickly if it wasn’t for this amazing woman. She gave me hope and truly saved my quality of life. I have such gratitude for Smita Mehta, she has cared for my girls and I with so much compassion, it’s obvious she loves her job and her patients♥️ Juliann Kabat

I am a new patient. The first visit with Dr. Nelson was very good. He went over the check off list that I filled out and thoroughly discussed and described each item/condition on the list as it applies to me. I greatly appreciate that. I hope that it continues to the future as far as getting quality care if a need arises and always being informed for good and well being as a patient.

Waited a couple days for their soonest appointment available to be seen for an ear infection, walked in 7 minutes late and they refused to see me. The girl at the front desk called someone and said the 9 o'clock is here and she has a baby with her in a really pissy tone and then she hung up and told me I would have to reschedule for being late as the Dr is on a prompt schedule. There was nobody else there to see that Dr. and come on seriously?? As if you weren't about to have me sit in the waiting room for 20+ minutes!! I'm changing my PCP - forget this medical group. They don't care about their patients at all!!!!
