Went to Altadena Dental Center for the first time today and was amazed with the service and professionalism of the staff - hard to find these days.. Had a general check up and deep cleaning done by Dr. Roland Yakubov. Very much impressed by both the timing and quality. Scheduled for continuation treatment and will definitely come again. Wasn't pressured to do anything other than what is necessary. Will recommend to friends and family.

DON'T GET FOOLED WITH THE REVIEWS, they give out gift cards for positive reviews on Yelp!!! I am new to this area so I trusted the reviews and went to this place for a cleaning and check up. I had been to a dentist less than a year ago and I take good care of my teeth so my teeth did not have a lot of germ to start with. The dentist assistant literally spent less than 2 minutes on my teeth and said he has done the "cleaning". I looked in the mirror and saw nothing has changed and the germ is all there. When the doctor came in, I told him that the cleaning was not what I expected. He said yes this was the cleaning and I needed a "deep cleaning". So the "cleaning" that they charged my insurance for, was literally NOTHING. And they wanted to charge my insurance and myself again for a deep cleaning that I declined. Also the check up was not what I expected. The doctor or his assistant didn't do any measurements of my teeth and gums or check out my tongue and mouth like my previous dentist would do. I always would get a thorough check-up and get my teeth completely cleaned and germ-free under a regular cleaning and check-up covered by my insurance. Overall, other than the nice and professional ladies at the front desk, the whole experience was the worst I have ever had at a dentist's office (And I have been to dentists in 3rd world countries)
