Established in 1995, Community Health Alliance of Pasadena (ChapCare) provides comprehensive, high-quality primary healthcare services.
ChapCare provides a “one-stop” shop where patients across all lifecycles can access comprehensive primary health care services, including medical and dental care, behavioral health counseling, nutrition and health education, and prevention programs. With over 100 employees and 25 volunteers, ChapCare operates 3 health centers in Pasadena, 2 health centers in El Monte, and a mobile medical unit in the El Monte/South El Monte region. In 2012, ChapCare provided 47,557 medical visits, 6,316 dental visits, and 1,376 behavioral health encounters to 14,186 unduplicated patients. Services are provided 6 days per week, with designated evening hours.
