This is a fantastic facility. Very clean with a great staff. The doctors are wonderful and take the time to talk with you and get to know you and your pets. Even when you have to make the tough end of life decisions everyone there is extremely caring and shows great compassion. They even do some special things to help you remember your fur babies. I love taking my animals to them. I also love that they offer adoptions too. They offer different plans to help pay for services and have a multiple pet discount which is great!

The ladies who work the front desk are efficient, kind & friendly.  Nice to feel welcome & offered coffee or water.  

They are very kind to all the pets & this makes me feel good & comfortable. 

The vet is so cheerful & welcoming to the pet.  I know my dog responded well to her cheerful greeting. 

It’s so very clean!

This place is an absolute joke! If I could give zero stars I would.  Do not adopt any animal from here. I adopted a kitten that was sick but was told he would be fine as long as he finished his medicine. What they didn't tell me was my dog could get this sickness too.  I now have a sick dog and this place won't pay for the medical visits or medication.  They knew I had a dog as it was stated on my adoption paperwork. They also told me that the kittens vaccines were part of the adoption fee and would be FREE when I brought my kitten back for the next set of vaccines. I only had to pay for his tag. That was a lie, they administered the vaccines and then changed me $150.00 when I went to check out! When I asked why do I have to pay again I already paid, I was told they never said it was free and the girl laughed. I was told only the rabies vaccine are included. I don't find it funny being lied to and I definitely don't think it funny my dog could die!! Think twice before you get an animal from here. It's sad you try to do a good thing and you get taken advantage of.  Very disappointed.

We just changed vets and this was our first visit.  Great experience they set me up with Best plan and saved us money took great care of my babies (they are my kids) and took the time to get to know us and our boys.  The boys thought it was   great.

Called 40 minutes before closing and the staff was wonderful. Told me to come right in, from the moment I walked in staff immediately greeted me and knew my dog by name (mind you I’ve never been here before and only gave mine and my dogs name over the phone). Immediately got into an exam room and within 5 minutes the vet was with us. Most people shy away from my 60 lb pitbull, he’s energetic and hyper - and people see pits as mean. The vet sat on the floor and played with him!! She didn’t even mind him climbing on her even when he almost knocked her over. She sat and talked over our options with us for probably 30 minutes before taking Scooby to get shots. He’s hyper and walks on a leash like a puppy would - pulling and wanting to run and there was never a moment she raised her voice at him. I will definitely be recommending Animal Care Center of Shorewood to everyone I know.
