I love Anytime Fitness in Smyrna, I've been a member for several years. I send most of my time taking the classes. Brittany's Yoga classes are the best, and she Circuit class. Brittany loves health coaching and fitness, and it shows, everybody that takes her classes keep coming back for more. I just wish she had more class times available. Thanks to the gym I have made some great friends "Brittany,Samantha,Jackie ".

Anytime Fitness in Smyrna, De was the only gym I felt comfortable walking into, let alone joining. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant and the other members are all very welcoming, too! My only complaint is that I wish my body would allow me to do more so I could go there all the time!

For being such a small business I figured I'd get better treatment. Not at all. Anytime Fitness' staff were not helpful and it was an absolute nightmare to cancel my membership after moving to another region. The headquarters actually tried to take money out of my banking account without authorization because I refused to pay for membership after I cancelled it. It has been almost three months now and the problem is still not resolved, and I keep getting charged for my membership. I would not recommend doing business with this this company, and if you choose to do so, cash only basis. They cannot be trusted with your financial information.

This place is a scam for a company known as ABCfinancial. I do advise anyone looking to get a membership here to google ABCfinancial and see how many Anytimefitness members feel about having to deal with them. I had no problems with Anytime fitness until my credit card information was stolen and my bank had to send me a new card. Less than a week after the billing due date for anytime fitness I received non stop calls from ABCfinancial. They hounded me about a gym membership payment for $35.99 continuously. This didn't help the idea I was upset already after having my card stolen and no access to my own funds. I was so upset by this out of place behavior that I decided to cancel the membership. It's a gym membership not a mortgage! On to the next part which I found to be the most interesting aspect of this place is that.. They lie to you and inform you that you're signing up for a "12" month contract that you can cancel at anytime. They sell you the membership as a 12 Month and 12 month only membership at $35.99 to which you can cancel or renew at the end of the year of your choosing. In actuality their memberships are all indefinite and automatically renew with or without your consent. They will not notify you of when your contract expires or ask if you wish to renew the membership when it is set to end in the 12 month period they tell you that you're signing up for. They will continually charge you past your 12 months unless you tell them you wish to cancel the membership. They do not make this process easy. They like to add on an additional month to which they will tack on not only the fees for that month but also an "annual yearly fee of $29.99". I requested to cancel my membership 3 times within that year and they finally submitted this request 3 weeks after I filled out the paperwork to do so on top of all the calls and e-mails I made/sent to end the membership. They will lie through their teeth trying to get you to pay them for an additional month to which you don't even have access to the gym and fees for a year when you're not using the gym because you cancelled your membership. As for the facility itself it's small and limited and not worth the high price of the membership. Its only point is being local if you're local. If not there are much cheaper 24hour gyms. I would go so far as to say that I had a feeling this place would be nickeling and diming me because I doubt they get that much business. I should have trusted my instinct and stuck with the gym I already used. I only signed up here for access since it was close but certainly not worth it at all.
