A good place to workout, run, swim and play basketball. 
Basketball courts are really good here. It gets pretty crowded during weekdays though.
AFC has one the best Swimming pools in the city. It always has a place for everyone. Not so crowded. It also has a wonderful hot tub and a sauna. Kids pool is kinda fun too. It has basketball ring to play in it while swimming. 
Altogether AFC gives value for the bucks you pay.

Great place to swim if you’re an UVA student. The hours are dependent on the swim teams schedule so just be sure to check those

If you are a UVA student, then you have access to a track, a gym, a pool, treadmills, exercise bikes, stairsteppers, and weight lifting machines of many kinds. It is a great place to get fit.
