Located in downtown Charlottesville, we offer 45 hot yoga classes a week (both Bikram method and Hot Vinyasa) that are open to people of all ages and abilities. Our friendly and experienced staff look forward to guiding you through your yoga practice and providing a safe yet challenging environment for your personal growth. I have never done a community yoga class before and this was an amazing first experience. I am a little self conscious doing studio classes due to my weight but I did not feel awkward at all!!! Jake was my instructor and he was wonderful. He made me feel welcome, included, and was very encouraging. The best part was the cold, lavender scented towel at the end of class! I joined the monthly membership and I can't wait to go back. I am definitely recommending Hot Yoga to all of my friends

I appreciate the positive and corrective feedback I receive from the teachers at Hot Yoga Charlottesville. They give praise and congratulations for improvement and offer terrific advice about improving further. The group sessions are excellent and the individual feedback is always supportive and helpful. The teachers support our overall growth while giving pointers and support to individuals. The atmosphere is challenging, but it is also encouraging regardless of the individual student's proficiency.

I have been to a lot of different yoga studios throughout the US and this one is seriously the best! The teachers are incredible and the environment is friendly and welcoming. The classes were fantastic and challenging but fun because the teachers are highly trained and talented! Def recommend going to this spot if you like yoga!!

This was my first class in several years. I went because of a friend's urging. Julia was the instructor and I found her to be welcoming and friendly. After several orthopedic surgeries, most recently a total knee replacement, she encouraged me to work at my own pace. I signed up for an introductory month and I'm looking forward to going back. The heat is intense and several times I had to just sit, but I really do think that the muscles in my calves feel much softer.

The friendliest staff!  They teach to all levels. Definitely a great place to go if you're a beginner or a seasoned yogi.
