Hello metro Phoenix and the world of the web far beyond the Sonoran desert... We're a dedicated Pro Drum specialty shop located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Story

We have just opened our doors in August 2013 as the truest Drum Shop in town and will be growing fast with new and unique products along with everyday items and service drummers need to stay sounding their best.
As well as prices that rival the big-block stores, count on us to always provide personal, professional and reliable service. Whether you need tuning tips or help, a quick minor repair, or advice to help select the best product to find YOUR voice and sound, we are here to serve and look forward to earning your loyalty and support.

Didn't care for the place. I walked in with cash to buy and there was nothing in stock. The guy at the desk looked as if he had just got up and slept in his clothes. Didn't seen to take me seriously at all. Went to Sweetwater and bought the DWs I wanted from a professional sales person who had them in stock. I have no use for such a place.

Not too long ago I stopped in to look for an upgrade to a cheaper cymbal I was using. Ron took the time to find several to try and was patient enough when I brought my cymbal setup in several times to get a perfect. I found an Impression ride that was exactly what I was looking for. And a new favorite cymbal company as well. The products are top notch at this store and the service goes beyond that.If I need anything else I will buy it here. This kind of small store will always be better than any major retailer. And even before I found Arizona Drum Shop I was done with Guitar Center which in my opinion has done nothing but gone downhill. Thanks for providing this opportunity to everyone who loves percussion. I'll be back.

This is one of 4 real honest to goodness drums shops in AZ. There are 2 others in the Phoenix metro area, but one of them can be a little snooty towards customers and the other one doesn't have nearly the caliber of inventory. The fourth shop is in Tucson. As you'd imagine, none of them are big box retailers. In my opinion, the most significant difference between a shop and a big box retailer is not the inventory (because any retailer can obtain just about any product), but rather what happens when you ask for advice or opinions. - With a shop, chances you'll get sound advice. - With a big box retailer, chances are you'll get "Sound Percussion." Don't be afraid to give this shop a chance. Prices are in-line or better (definitely better in my experience). The inventory is surprisingly large, which makes me wonder if Ron was a Tetris champion in his prior life. The background music is TASTY. But most importantly, Ron is exactly the kind of guy who you want to seek when it comes to investing into your craft. (He can also steer you in the right direction when it comes to pot roast.) Hope that helps everyone out!
