We offer evaluation of the following urgent medical conditions & illnesses (all ages):

Fever, sore throat, sinus & respiratory infections, cough, flu, eye & ear infections, abdominal pain, bladder infection, bites, rashes, asthma, allergic reactions.

Work-related injuries, back injury, minor eye injuries, strains & sprains, lacerations.

Physical examination for pre-employment, sports, school (bring immunization records).

Strep, TB, & discrete STD testing. Tetanus immunization.

Great experience both times I’ve been here. Lovely and attentive staff and Dr. Kurlan is excellent. Very short wait time and well worth it. Way faster than most Dr’s offices.

No reason to go there. I went, concerned about chest pains. I was told to wait until they were done processing the person before me. There is only the receptionist and one dr. Even though the pains escalated, I was told it would be about 10 mins and that I could go to the ER if I was concerned. Their attitude is very nonchalant and not "urgent" in any way. They asked me several times what I would like to do when I had no idea what was happening or what I should do; I was there to get their assistance! There is more urgency at a yoga studio! Also, they don't take ANY insurance at all.

Rudest most condescending front desk woman I have ever encountered. If the doctor is anything like her I would stay as far away as possible of this place. Lady, if you hate your job that much, you should quit and find something else where customer service is not a requirement. Drove 20mins to DOC URGENT CARE in Carlsbad instead, where a simple question of “do you take insurance?” provided me a welcoming reply instead of a snarky comment. I rather be in pain for longer than ever go to this Urgent Care again. I don’t recommend based on their horrible customer service.

This is a great urgent care option for patients, you can make a same day appointment or walk-in. I made a same day appointment on a Saturday and when I got there I was immediately signed in and I only waited like 10 minutes in total. The RN that helped me was named Adrienne and she was very nice and efficient. I saw Dr. Karlan and she was also very kind and helpful. I was able to get all of my prescriptions at the office, which was incredibly convenient and the check out process was simple. The entire visit, including my chest X-ray, was less than an hour. The quality of care given at this location is top notch and I would highly recommend this office anyone who needed a quick, unplanned doctor visit.

Dr. Kurlan and his assistant had me in and out with several tests in record time. Dr. Kurlan was very thorough, kind and generous with his time. Why see a nurse practitioner when you can get the real deal! Thanks Dr. Kurlan! J. Mihal
