I came to the store to replace one small screw (brought it with me to show exactly what I was looking for) which is custom made by Ashley furniture. Customer service told me that the only way to obtain it, was to order the associated replacement parts. Without much of a choice, I did so. A week later I received the package. In it were some replacement parts, but NO screw. I called the customer care line, and waited for longer than 30 minutes before talking to a representative. He told me he that he could not do anything and I had to deal with the store directly. I called the Schererville store next and talked to the customer service and explained my situation. The representative told me that the sales manager was in a meeting and would call me after she was done. I received no call back that day from the manager. I called the next day to ask for a refund of my order. After all, Ashley furniture did not deliver on the part I asked and needed, and the customer service had just been underwhelming. I was told that replacement parts cannot be refunded, even if it is Ashley furniture who made the mistake on the order. That is incredible. Now they generously offered a gift card, but I will take my business elsewhere going forward.

The girlfriend and I went here to look for a new couch. We were pretty set on a sectional but still wanted to look around. The sales associates were very kind and were quick to respond, but not pushy. It's all too often you get stuck with a sales associate that is very pushy and almost makes you annoyed to the point of leaving. Not here! Our sales associate was very respectful and would give us space so we could discuss things personally by ourselves without feeling pressured by the staff. They answered all questions and explained everything very thoroughly. I would definitely use them to purchase furniture in the future!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Terrible products and terrible customer service. I purchased a sofa and loveseat from this store 4 years ago, starting in September I noticed the material was starting to bubble. Once October came my husband and I called to complain and they told us our product was defective and on recall so theh would send someone out to fix it. It is now March and we've had someone come out twice and never had the correct information on his work order so he couldn't fix our furniture. Ashley Furniture just keeps saying they will resubmit the work order.......absolutely ridiculous.
