We have taken our pet to the Atlantic Veterinary Center in Middletown De. since 2005. There has never been one time that we were unhappy with the Practice. We would not want to take our pet to any other place for his continual care. We go where Dr. Weir sends us for special care. However; Dr. weir and his staff are his primary care givers. We feel so fortunate to have found them when we got our 8 week old little guy , 12 years ago. They are the best for us and our pet.

Drs. Weiher and Shapiro are excellent vetinary physicians. The office staff are exceptional. They combine excellent care delivery with caring and concern. We always feel that they care about our dog more than maximizing revenue. They are definitely trust partners in caring for our dogs.

Dr. Weiher and his staff have provided nothing but kind and compassionate care to our dog and our family. It is obvious how much they genuinely care for their fur patients and their families. It has been a tough road with our dog's lymphoma diagnosis, but Atlantic Veterinary Center has provided the best treatment and guidance. We're grateful to Dr. Weiher and everyone at AVC.

DR. SHAPIRO and the staff here are AMAZING!! After being completely misinformed about my bunny being in labor from my regular vets office they took my bunny in with no questions asked! I have never been here before until last night and they were fantastic!! They performed a cesarean and spayed my female bunny. Without them my bunny wouldn't be here!! I recommend them highly! Thanks again!

Will never return. Con artists, this vet is out for money and money only. I would rate them a zero if possible. Took my dog here a couple of times, and his anxieties were through the roof each time. Each wellness check there just so happened to be something wrong where numerous medicines had to be given each time.
) SANITIZATION . Despite hair being all in the exam rooms, While diagnosing a rash by genital area the vet was rubbing the plastic piece (used to place on the stage of a microscope) and broke the piece near his genitals. The vet was bleeding a little on my dog, went to the back cleaned up put a band aid on real quick while continuing to bleed out of it and proceeded to give my dog his vaccinations. 
) Greed. While taking my dog in for a final puppy shot I was told I couldn't go back with him to watch, UNLESS I paid for the wellness exam which typically runs around $40. Before I knew it my dog was returned to me, LESS THAN 20 seconds after going into this back room with one of the techs. I'm supposed to believe my puppy who has a hard enough time running off with strangers, allowed them to give him a shot in LESS THAN 20seconds?
