My visit here was very nice! I was not staying at the hotel, but booked a sugar back scrub and massage here. The front desk attendants were so nice and accommodating (and very thorough). The changing areas/restrooms were nice, as was the lounging area. My massage therapist was very skilled and the experience was super relaxing. I even enjoyed a glass of wine and a fruit and cheese plate after. I would definitely come back here.

The staff is unorganized and unaccommodating. The robes are also old, thin, and in dire need of replacement. The steam shower/room is priced for a 25 minute session however they only allowed me to stay in for 15. When I asked, the staff seemed clueless but admitted they were "making changes." I wouldn't recommend this spa to anyone. There are much better options than Aura all over Richmond.

I had such a great massage here. The spa is really beautiful and clean. Everyone was very warm, welcoming, and friendly!

Very disappointed with our experience. My husband had an AMAZING masseur. He listened and did what was asked. I however had a masseuse that would not do what was asked. After 4 times of asking her to please contact concentrate on my neck and shoulders she finally did, a whooping 8 minutes at the end. I walked out just as tense as what I walked in. When we booked with specifically asked for 2 masseurs, that did not happen and we were not told the shower was broken until after we were robed and ready to go. When my husband tried to discuss this up front it was like the lady was in lala land. Spoiler alert they also add a 20% gratitude regardless of service and do not tell you until after you have paid. Guess we will stick to the places we know, won't make this mistake again.
