I've only been here once and at their prices I am not going to go back to see if I just had a bad masseuse. I made reservations for a 50 minute deep tissue massage (which is more $ than a regular massage). As someone who usually gets 1-2 massages a month, I had a good idea of what to expect. I was mistaken. I've been having a lower back, higher hip problems (think right where a belt would sit on the back). When I informed the masseuse she told me it was company policy not to massage there. What?! Lower back is off limits?! As an athlete I've had glute (butt muscle) problems in the past and have never been told by a professional that it was off limits. But lower back is off limits? Fine whatever. I then asked if she could do some focus work on my calf, it had been cramping and needed some work. She said okay. The massage started and it was very similar to a Swedish massage, which is the opposite of a deep tissue massage. I came in with muscle aches I was hoping she could work them out. At $145, I figured she'd be knowledgeable enough to do it. She, however, seemed to only know one type of massage, and it wasn't the type I needed or wanted. With only 5 minus left in the session I had to remind her to massage my calf, which she had completely skipped. I was in the wrong position and she wasn't too happy about having me adjust again. She said I should have scheduled a longer session if there was any particular place I wanted her to focus on. I could have done without 90% of her massage if she would have just focused on that one muscle. After the massage ended she told me that she didn't really do deep tissue and that someone else on staff specialized in it and the next time I should schedule with the other person. When I made the reservation that first time I didn't request anyone, so I am not sure why they scheduled me with someone who didn't know how to perform the service I requested. She was nice, but was unable to do what I paid for. A $30 groupon would have been preferable, and not just because of the price. If you have the extra money for someone to play soft music and rub oil lightly on your upper back, this may be the right place for you. As for me, I will find somewhere with more qualified staff.

I’ve had 3 massages with Kevin so far. They’ve all been spectacular (the best I’ve ever had) and have addressed (and resolved) whatever issues I had going on with my neck and back at the time. He’s very observant...paying attention to how my body responds voluntarily (or involuntarily) to his actions and pressure level. The spa itself is beautiful and luxurious. The staff is polite, professional, and very helpful. I can’t wait to go back again.

I want to thank the staff at Red Door Salon, for everything they did to ensure my hair cut was perfection!  Stephanie the stylist eventually completed the final haircut, and I have gotten so many compliments from family, friends, and strangers at the grocery store!  She is the real deal and a gem.  She is extremely talented, kind, listened to what I wanted to do for my new look and she made it happen.    The front desk girls are also very nice and each one took time to help me and did it with a smile.  The management, the salon, and the entire staff are amazing and thank you so much!!  Jackie

The manager and staff were THE BEST.  The pedicure was the I've ever had, the massage was heavenly and also the best or one of the best.  The hair blow out was relaxing.  It was just an all-around great experience and just what I needed!

"I thoroughly enjoy my pedicures every month. I love being pampered and my technician (Katiya) takes care of me! However, I had my first facial this visit and while I enjoyed the experience, I thought the esthetician made very off-putting comments and seemed like I was wasting her time. I was somewhat disappointed but glad that was my first service of the day so the other services could make me feel better."
