Had a very bad experience. Poor customer service. Issue was with an old gift card that I was told did not expire....I called today and even before getting into my own personal situation, I asked the front desk clerk (Grace), do you gift cards/certificates expire and she said no. I then proceeded to give details and ask question regarding a certificate that I received..I received 2 certificates as a Christmas gift and only used one. I asked the rep about the other one because I knew that I would not be able to get back in before and of year...at this time I was told not to worry about it because even though then date is printed, the certificates do not expire. My issue today is that I called and was not able to speak to a manager. I left message but then I went there. I was told by Grace that the manager said she would not honor it now. I asked to speak to manager and was told I had to call the number press option, 4 and leave message for manager. I asked can you get her back on the phone. She called , for manager (Shia) on the phone, as she was speaking I kept asking if I could speak to her...the front desk clerk, Grace..totally ignored me. She hung up and told me I had to call this number, select option, 4 and leave message. Really??? When you just hung up the phone. She just kept repeating and saying this is what I was told. I could not believe the manager would not speak to me. I took card, went in hall, called number and they was no option 4, to contact manager. Only 3 options to select which location you wanted to contact. I walked back in and told her there was no option for manager. She again kept saying, that is the policy you have to call and leave a message and someone will call you...but it is not working, no option to speak to manager?? So now, what do I do? Can you get her back on the phone? Can you give her my number to call me?? She again, just looking at me...Then someone comes from the back and asked her if she needed help??? She said yes...Now, the person says, I understand you have an issue but harassing her is not going to help and we are trying to do massages in back...i said I am not harassing her ..i was not speaking in a loud tone) I did what she told me and it did not work so now I need another option. How can I get in touch with manager. They said they would give her my information and she would contact me I a few minutes. I also I formed Grace that I was looking to purchase another certificate as a gift for someone...earlier in conversation and she had the nerve to ask, well do you want to purchase a gift card? No, not at this time...really, why would I spend a dollar in there when the manager, Shia, will not even speak with me. This is what bothered me so, not as much as to whether she would honor the card or not. It was that I was told that they did not expire, even by Grace today...and even more so that she refused to speak with me nor have I received a return phone Call. Would not spend another $ there. --- Update , manager called me back and was very nice, understood my concerns and was genuinely concerned. After speaking with her I felt much better. It did not change what happened but she handled it very well!!...so I did up my rating to include the overall end to end experience.
