Good repair shop.

Went in for a smog check, the engine light was on so it failed. The next day they diagnosed the problem to be a heater box relay failure. They got the parts installed, did the smog test and all is good! It's always nice to know that these people know what they are doing and get it done right the first time.

The automatic transmission in our 1993 GMC 3500 would no longer go into reverse.  We called other shops and got prices and frankly a lot of "run-around".  Then we heard about Auto Professionals in Santa Maria from a couple of good sources, including a tow truck driver.  We called AAA and told them where we wanted the truck towed.  It turned out that Auto Professionals was one of the few shops in the area approved and recommended by AAA.  The whole experience was great.  The truck was ready before promised, other problems were fixed and the whole staff was very nice and certainly professional.  Even with the extra work which included a new A/C blower motor, some fuses and re-wiring the cost was less than the estimate.  On top of that we received a AAA discount on the job that helped out even more.  I would recommend this repair shop to anyone with a transmission or other vehicle problem.
