The car was great on gas but it was really nasty and it smelled inside. We had to clean the windows bc there was a dirty hue on the front and back

Avoid this place at all costs. Earlier today, I rented a car for a Noon pickup. I was running 5 minutes late to pick up my car, and realized that I would be arriving at 12:05 (5 minutes after they were closing, because it was Saturday). I called the store and spoke with one employee and his manager to let them know. The manager said that he would wait until 12:05 for me, but he "had somewhere to be" and wouldn't be able to wait any longer. When I arrived at 12:05, as promised, the office was closed and both the manager AND his employee were gone. This has left me carless and stranded here for the weekend. I'd highly recommend going down the street to Enterprise. Sadly, they didn't have any cars left for me today when I checked with them, but they were super friendly and informed me that they always wait for their customers to pick up their cars on Saturdays, even after they close.

I rented a car from them that smelled so bad with cigarette smoke that I could not drive it. They would not give me a different car because they said it would be an upgrade. I called Avis headquaters and told them what happened and they told me to retun the car to them and for them to give me a different car. When I returned the car and told David what they said, He started cursing and said that He could not do that. I called Avis and had them to speak directly with him, he was very angry at this point, but I was able to get another vehicle. I will never rent another vehicle from  him. Very bad customer service.

As Liam said AVOID AT ALL COST. We have come out of state to travel to another and wanted to use a rental. Had reservations for 12pm pickup and wouldn't you know no-one was here to help us. Crazy that they close at 12 and our reservations are at 12. Called the 1800 number and they said nothing they could do. What kind of company takes your money and says can't help you.... AVIS DOES!!! Promise all that who we know and FB will know how crappy you treat your merchants. By the way this is Quintard location in Anniston, Al. Because they had our reservation at 12 those around had already closed so we missed out on getting a rental to top it off. Avis you don't deserve a Thanks, but Thanks for your crappy service.
