The South East Asian man in the office was extremely helpful!  He allowed me to fill the car's tank without making me late on the rental's return!  This man is why I will return to Avis!  My compliments to his style and service!

Nish was fantastic on the phone and in person.  First of all, the price was incredible.  I actually called back and asked if they had the right price because rental for the same vehicle at the airport and other locations cost $650 MORE.  The pickup and drop off was super super smooth.  It took us about 5 minutes.  I would absolutely come back here and rent again.  Thank you so much Nish and Avis for providing an incredibly reasonably priced large van at the last minute, as well as wonderful customer service!!!  Thank you!!!

First thing, the customer service is sub par. I have rented with Avis before, but this time I was told I had to purchase insurance because of my debit card! This is nowhere on the website nor is it on my confirmation. I explained that I have rented from another location and never been told that. Guy responds "no one is forcing me to rent"! At this point I don't have a choice. That's another 100+ dollars when I have already budgeted for the trip. 
Secondly, car had a funny smell and was dirty (windows and all)!  
Telling me that this has always been a policy as if I were lying is disrespectful, making smart remarks rather than trying to alleviate the situation or even act as if it is important would have been nice. Not you don't have to rent here. If I hadn't been dropped off I would have left.
Also, you post every other requirement, but not this insurance thing and I feel it is very underhanded.  I don't like being forced (circumstances) to pay for something I never agreed when I booked the rental! I meant to go to Highway 1 North in Edison! Better service!

The gentleman behind the desk was nice and accommodating. Had my rental there with no problems. Car was clean inside and out but parked under a tree so some pollen and a few bird droppings were on it but the gentleman was a bit flexible when returning the rental. Maybe invest in a canopy.

Wonderful experience and service. Not only was the customer service exemplary, but being an Avis Preferred Plus member, I was upgraded to a Mustang convertible for my rental. 

Cannot say enough positive things, I will be back regularly for sure. Thank you!
