Chris was very helpful. Adjusted the seat on the bike and helping with the route that I was going to ride today. He also suggested Sweet Potato Cafe - fried green tomatoes were wonderful!

Kris helped my vision come to life! I wanted to convert my mini velo road bike into more of a speed machine. Kris installed Sora STI shifters from downtube shifters and switched out the existing tires for thinner ones. His advice was to first see if these changes made a difference in speed. They did! He was very helpful in putting things into perspective, i.e., what is the best bang for my bucks. I told Kris about how I also wanted to travel with the bike. Again, he found a low cost solution that worked! He went above and beyond what I would have expected from a big box store's bike shop. I am happy I gave them a chance and supported a "mom and pop" business. Kris has shown himself to be a fairly responsive business owner who cares about providing the best service and ensures his customers are happy with the final product. I also found his fellow shop mate, Preston, to be just as helpful and concerned about my needs. Thank you Kris, Preston, and Michele for an outstanding experience. I will be back! Tracey

One more of the activities for our recently held family reunion was a casual bike ride in Stone Mountain Park. I was in charge of planning and coordinating this activity. During my Google search of bike rental facilities in the Atlanta area, I was pleasantly surprised to find a bike shop literally a few yards away from the entrance to the Park. From my initial contact, by phone, with the staff in late May 2017 to arriving at the bike shop, being fitted on the bikes, tips on safe riding, and returning to the shop after the ride, my group and I received nothing but superb customer service from each staff member. Preston, in particular, ptovided is with outstanding customer service. On the afternoon of Sunday July 30, 2017, my group of seven adults, of varying riding abilities, arrived for our appointment. We were met by Preston who welcomed us and immediately began selecting the bikes based on our height and level of comfort. After we were all fitted and our helmets were properly adjusted, we were given tips riding and safety tips. Seeing that several of us were a bit nervous about handling our bikes, the staff gave is tips, including proper pedaling, shifting gears, and braking. It was also very assuring when Preston offered to ride along and coach one member of our group who was struggling with handling her bike. In fact, he stayed with her for the duration of the ride. Towards the end of the ride, with much credit to Preston, she showed marked improvement and confidence in her bike handling abilities. On behalf of the Stephen family, I want to express our sincere gratitude to Preston and the staff at Aztec for their friendliness and for making our casual bike ride a wonderful and memorable experience for all seven of us. Amazing shop but most of all, amazing people working in there. Chris and his staff are super duper. They will tell you exactly what your bike needs without pressure to pay for unnecessary work (unless you tell them you are looking to improve something on your bike). They also have the best prices for service I've seen in the metro Atlanta area.
