Espresso made with passion. Even with a weird name, this cafe seems to have brought professionally made espresso to a small town. The head barista trained at the finest cafes in NYC and has imported a piece of that third wave culture to the coast. Their baked goods and meals are on point, with quality ingredients that shines through. If you’re a local, or tourist coming through, definitely give this gem a go!

This is a newish quirky place in town with unusual hours. It is worth the effort to find them open. If you are a foodie just do it. You will not regret it. The owners are genuinely warm, good people who personally cook for you and then serve you. We had pulled pork sandwich, chicken empanada, leek and mushroom soup, turkey chili, TO DIE FOR biscuit with home-made jam. Amazing pour over coffee. Everything is from scratch, locally sourced or ethically sourced and intentional. The food is interesting and delicious. Morro Bay truly needs this kind of establishment and I hope to see this place thrive. We will be back!

We had a wonderful lunch! Sandwiches were made on amazing house made focaccia. Definitely worth a visit Friday-Monday noon until they run out of food.
We had a great morning at babydudes! The latte was delicious and the biscuit was perfect. We’ll definitely be back and so glad to see them in Morro Bay! Yay!
Have sampled 2 lunches and 2 desserts and a smoothie and all were superb. Friendly workers. We hope you are able to expand your business hours to include more days in the future.
We have been to baby dudes multiple times and each time was a delight. We are travelers but the owners treated us like locals we will miss Morro bay and this stellar place to get your morning fix!
