Drove out to Morro Bay on a whim and found this gem! My husband and I got one guava bread, a strawberry tres leches, and two of their aguas frescas oat horchata and a lime, celery and cucumber. I wished we had tried their sandwiches after enjoying their pastries! So we went back the next day for lunch and I’m so glad we did. Their guava milkshake was delicious as well as the sandwiches we got the lechón mojado and the chavó! It’s family owned and overall good vibes at this cafe. I’d go back daily if it were in my town! We bought some merch and pastries for our trip back home. Can’t wait to go back to Morro Bay to have more sandwiches at this spot.
We live in town and decided to try this new family restaurant option this weekend. The pork torta was absolutely delicious, with perfectly cooked pork and doughy, but firm, bread to hold the guacamole sauce. They offered extra sauce for dipping and I turned them down. What was I thinking? My son loved having extra red sauce for his. The prices were excellent, especially for offerings so fresh and homemade. We took home several helados, including fresh coconut, cantaloupe and guava. They also let us sample the homemade ice cream! Wow! The eggnog is a flavorful vanilla base with plump raisins and is on my list for our next visit, as well as the coffee and pecan ice cream. Too many good things to try in one trip, so we'll be going back!
Stopped in to see what was up. Hungry for a yummy sandwich. They did not disappoint. I had pork with tomato, fresh onion and a delicious avocado spread. Warmed and a pickle on the side. Delicious. Also, purchased two of their homemade ice creams. Haven’t tried those yet. I got rum raisin and a persimmon. Will post after we try them. Several choices in the ice cream freezer. Will go back to try other sandwiches. Yummmmm
We drove down from Cambria, had El Vegatariano, La Torta del Chavo AKA ham sandwich, Tres Leches De Lula, a cookie and drink. It was very TASTY. Looking forward to our next visit.
The food was amazing. We had the tacos and quesadilla and they were amazing. The wait was a bit long but i assume it was just a bad day. The horchata was really good too. The staff was really nice and kept checking up on us.Food: 5/5
Great new deli in Morro Bay! Tasty tortas and excellent homemade ice cream and popsicles in many flavors made of mostly real fruit! Highly suggested, I really enjoyed the ham torta and think I am addicted to the ice cream! Curious to try the tres leches cakes next time I see them available, the options looked really tasty! I have been a couple times now and was happy with every visit. Check out their t-shirt art as well. Parking: It is on a busy street in Morro Bay, but busy is relative. Just do not try to park during the farmers on Saturday otherwise you will find something fairly close pretty easily. Dietary restrictions: All made fresh, just ask what you need!
This was a wonderful breakfast burrito - and especially wonderful considering I ordered it at 2PM! Aguas Frescas also very flavorful and w/large portions. Will be coming backFood: 5/5
soooooo good. Food is legit, made with quality and care by some great people.
Great vegetarian torta!
Such a cute spot! Very friendly with absolutely DELICIOUS and cheap! sandwiches. Love the cuban spin on the french dip! Will definitely be back to get a full cone of ice cream, I tried the homemade blueberry and lavender and it was incredible. Definitely check them out!
