I feel like this location is very hit and miss... it’s either great or terrible. There isn’t really any in-between. If you go later in the evening, expect that they will be understaffed. I’ve waited several minutes to be acknowledged, and there are usually only 2 servers at the most who seem to struggle to keep up with all the tables. The pie here is consistently good. The rest of the food is kind of a gamble... when it’s good, it’s delicious, but it’s often cold and not so great. For the best experience here, I recommend coming during peak times when they have more staff.

Had a very good and normal dining experience at the 35W and 98th Street Baker's Square location. All food items appeared just as they were designed. They also had a very definite aromatic and visually appealing aspect in their composition. No negative taste was noted in any of this order's contents. A definitely pleasant and surprisingly affirmative chain restaurant visit.

Great place. The staff is helpful. They'll provide you with helpful insight to make sure your appetite (and sweet tooth) are satisfied. It's usually not very packed so you won't feel crammed in.

We stood at the hostess podium for at least 5 minutes waiting for someone to just acknowledge our presence before we finally left. It was clear they were understaffed, but that doesn't excuse the fact that we weren't even greeted. In fact, someone stood directly in front of us at the podium and called the next people in line to seat them but couldn't be bothered to look at us and say, "Hi, someone will be with you in a moment." The food could be great, but we weren't given an opportunity to try it.

My eggs Benedict was over cooked. We had to wait for thirty min for a table because they were under staffed. And there was only one waitress for entire floor.
