I was lucky to find Bandera while I was in the area today and decided to give it a look for lunch. Wound up with seats at the chef’s bar because we didn’t have reservations, but that’s exactly where I would request to sit when I return again. Getting to watch the chefs prepare the food was a great experience all on its own. It helped us decide what we all wanted to eat - especially after we watched him prepare an Oreo cookies and cream ice cream dessert in a bath of chocolate sauce. The service was great, the food was spectacular, and I’d recommend this to anyone.

Top notch service. This place is a classic, never disappoints. The food is of top quality, you can tell the second it's presented. Dimly lit which is nice, jazz nightly, TV at the bar, if you get a table with a window view, your weekend is made.

Love this place. It's cozy, have live Jazz (every evening at 6). We had the beef ribs, cornbread and macho salad they were fabulous. Definitely would recommend

People have been telling about this place for years. My attitude we "yeah right I don't like trendy. I like good food. This place is both. I had a Martini, shrimp cocktail and prime rib. All were excellent.

What an amazing experience..granted, it's not for everyday meals (a bit on the pricey side), but great for a business meal or a date. We had a great time for dinner, with a fabulous jazz ensemble in the background. The cheeseburger is great but MASSIVE, good to share.
