I met a friend here for drinks on Sunday this past weekend, while I was in town for a conference. When I walked in, the place was pretty empty, not unusual for a Sunday. I sat down at the bar and talked to the bartender briefly about their drink list. I had absolutely no idea how extensive the list was. There is an entire page for gin & tonics. They have classic cocktails with a twist, and their "unforgettable" cocktails. The bartender had only been working there for a few months but he had the entire list memorized. After my friend got there, she told me it was on of the best cocktail bars in the city and she had always wanted to go. The waitress was so funny and quirky. She also had so many recommendations and was very knowledgeable on the drinks. When she was busy at other tables, what I can assume was the manager would swing by our table and ask how our drinks were. He was suggest other drinks based on our taste preferences, and assured us if we hated it he would send it back and try something new. It was such a nice surprise for being in downtown Chicago. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I came in for a nightcap and were treated like VIPs. A nice gentlemen named Joey helped us decide what to drink.  (The menu is huge!) When my husband had given his drink a try but didn't care too much for the taste, Joey chatted with him and figured out something else he would like and then brought us that without charging us for the first drink. He was super friendly and suggested other great places to go in the city.  Delicious drinks! Highly recommend!

Beer list is lacking.  Large selection of cocktails.  A little on the pricey side.  Overall this is an ok spot to grab a cocktail.

Best pancakes I've ever had! Since its also the kitchen for the Palomar Hotel, wish the menu had more variety.

Great spot for a drink. Staff is extremely friendly and and drink menu is endless. Great vibe.
