*Edited review* They are back! Was Aarons bbq but back to Bandits and Located at Homebase parking lot. Really good stuff you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

You know that sign that you see on your way to H-E-B but you still haven't taken the time to try it? GO NOW! 
The food is absolutely awesome; authentic and not at all dry, nice bark. Sandwiches are $5 with chips. We couldn't even finish our lunch and it was cheaper than if we went to Burger King.
The restaurant itself is cozy little place, and insanely clean. I mean, the salt and pepper shakers are shiny. Not a smudge on tabletops or so much as a crumb on the floor and they had apparently just had a lunch rush.
Just like the other reviewers said, the staff is really sweet and helpful. Soldiers and families don't worry about hostility bc you're new, which is always nice.
It's just off the main drag, not hard to find or navigate at all.
This needs to be your next lunch when in The Cove, and take some home for dinner😆

This is my first time here and I must say I really enjoyed the food very much. I also like how the place isn't overcrowded. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some good brisket or macaroni and cheese.

It's not over crowded! I had the lunch plate and explained to the cashier that it was my first time there. She went over the menu with me and was very helpful. I had the ribs and they were very tender along with the potato salad as my side. I will definitely be coming back!
