This Banfield is a worst location I have been to! My dog will be 12 in Jul 2018 and I had used many Banfield locations since the begging. The doctors are OK but the administrative staff is rude, short and extremely unhelpful. They try to charge you for anything they can (outside of the welness plan and they are very inflexible. They don't even try to help you more than minimum prescribed in their "little" job descriptions. Their corporate office needs to consider "refreshing" their admin crew.  Avoid this location if possible.

My puppy loves Banfield. To a person, we have had marvelous experiences with their staff. If you’re a pet parent, you know when people genuinely enjoy interacting with your pet and Banfield ‘s whole team is on point. We had one emergency visit, and they guided us through it with compassion and patience. I’m terrible with names but Gabi and Jake are two of the many super-stars among the staff. The minimal wait times are no biggie because you can browse the aisles for any pet needs or toys they don’t need but get anyway.

The most accurate review of a pet hospital should be left by the pets. My dogs are still learning to type so I’m helping them out with this one. All three of them wuv (they won’t let me spell it right) this place. They are always so happy so see their vet friends and the techs too! They love getting weighed and getting treats. They wouldn’t allow me to take them anywhere else.

We take our two dogs to Banfield and have had no problems.  They are great for routine care and some emergencies.  It seems that emergencies always happen later in the evening and on weekends.  We did have an emergency one evening and they were about to close.  They could not help us so we took our puppy to the Hope Center.  The Hope Center is great but it's $1,000 to just walk in the door usually.  If Banfield had overnight services they would be 5 stars.  
I do have to say that Ann(e?) is a wonderful vet tech.  We have a rescue that we only leave is she is there because he is so afraid (and will bite because of it).  He loves her and she goes the extra mile to make him comfortable and relaxed.

We have had great experiences with Banfield Tysons Corner.  The only reason I leave off one star is that I wish we could more easily make appointments for a specific time instead of doing a drop off for most appointments.  We have an 11 year-old cat on a wellness plan with them.  They worked with us diligently to address her weight and borderline diabetic issues until she finally settled on a diet that helped her get back within the normal weight range.  She's doing very well now.  We had a 12 year-old dog that we recently had to put down because she had chronic kidney disease and pancreatitis and she just wasn't responding to treatment well enough anymore.  In the last several weeks of her life we had a long talk with Dr. Raeburn about her end-of-life care, he took all measures he could to address all of our dog's struggles, and in the last week we had three unscheduled visits for fluid and anti-nausea treatments.  Dr. Raeburn and the rest of the vets and staff were always very patient and caring with our dog and with us.  Other reviewers said that they couldn't get last-minute appointments for an illness, but that wasn't our experience.  The staff fit us in the schedule right away.  When I came in they recognized our dog right away, greeted us warmly, and took our dog to the back immediately.  The last appointment was especially important to us.  She wasn't responding very well to treatment and we had to make the quick decision to put her down before she got very sick and miserable again.  We decided to hire Lap of Love to put her down at home in her own bed, and the day before our euthanasia appointment Banfield took our dog for one more last-minute appointment for fluids and anti-nausea injections so that her last day was comfortable and peaceful.
