Great people in person. Quick to take your money. 7 to 10 business days to hear back on secure credit I applied for and paid for. Going on 7 weeks now. No word. Never again. Update:: finally signed a paper last week. Guaranteed to get my deposit for secure card back Monday. Tuesday latest. Wednesday, still no word.

I have a love hate relationship with Bank of America. My mortgage got absorbed by them years ago, I have a credit card with them, and I have a small personal account that I keep because when I get paid for a small freelance job I have it gets direct deposited into that account. Through the years I have had some shady things happen with my accounts with them (misapplied mortgage payment that took over 6 months to straighten out) but I have never gotten around to completely breaking ties with them. Things I love: they seem to be everywhere, I lost my card and needed desperately to make a deposit and at this location I was able to talk to a teller on a screen who helped me make the deposit even though I didn't have a card, and I was able to get a temporary replacement card at the bank branch the next day without having to wait for them to send me one in the mail, although they did that too. Things I don't like are the customer service waiting time. At this branch in particular you will be waiting hours to see someone if you can't get your problem taken care of by someone on a screen in the drive through. Also they changed the teller machines in the drive through and all but the first one are difficult to use. It takes forever to get to the prompt menu. I end up having to pull my card out several times to get it to work. Another weird thing about this location is there is an armed guard outside at all times. Is there more crime here? In any case I am a creature of habit and it takes a lot for me to make a change so my relationship with Bank of America will go on. This location is close to where I work and the new screens that allow you to talk to a teller even after the bank is closed is a great feature. Just be prepared for their bureaucratic banking practices.

The worst bank of America I have ever been too. Only went twice both times BC my bank card was.compromised and needed to get cash. They have 2 tellers working at 2pm on Friday. 30 plus.minute wait both times. Very poorly managed

They scam you. They can't make their branch goals numbers. They lie to their customers. Just to open debit cards and credit cards without caring about their customers They tell you that you have a credit card offer. ( IF YOU ARE NOT ELEGIBLE, THEY WILL GIVE YOU A PRE-PAID CREDIT CARD INSTEAD. THIS IS HOW IT WORKS But when you speak with a banker he cant offer anything because there is nothing for you. They just tell you that, just to run your credit to see if you are able to have something and make their branch goals, as they realized that you are not ELEGIBLE they tell you that the credit card offer is a pre paid. Here is the tricky part, your credit gets run (even tho you thought you had a credit car offer already for you) and as the notice that you are no eligible, they don't tell you if are legible or not. They just give you a number that you could call to see if you were approved. Of course when you call they tell you that a mail will be send to explain why you did not get it. But when you ask them... You guys told me that I had a credit card offer right?? They wouldn't have an answer to tell you, either call or wait for the mail.
