Health Care for a Growing Community

Banner Health recognizes the growing health care needs in Pinal County and the Southeast Valley. Our 80-acre Banner Ironwood Medical Center campus offers a state-of-the-art hospital and other associated services.

Banner Ironwood features 47 private rooms and focuses on emergency services, obstetrics, surgery and general medical care.

We offer a patient-centered approach, featuring all the amenities of a hotel and the highest quality of health care available.

Room to Grow with the Community

Banner Ironwood is built to expand quickly with community growth. Our first patient tower has 47 beds and can accommodate up to 86 beds when fully equipped. In total, more than 500 beds and supporting health services could be built on our site.

We had a tragic event that happened Tuesday in the sudden death of my mother in law. 911 was called and she was taken to Banner Ironwood ER. A tragic experience was eased because of the staff from the receptionist to the nurses to the registrar! We didn't have any of her insurance cards, no worries they said, call us when you get it (which we did). I just want to give kudos to our nurse Maggie. she was AMAZING! She treated my father with gentleness, she never rushed us, was constantly checking on us as we were gathering family to say good bye. They did not rush us out. She explained everything...what happened, what was next, what to expect. She went above and beyond in my book. As a medical professional myself, this is an amazing RN you have working for you, we were grateful she was on duty this horrid day. a bad nurse could have made it a terrible experience. Going to the hospital is never something you enjoy. I will not go into details on why i had to come here. However the staff was so amazing helpful and always there for my needs. I have a 7month old baby that he was suffering from separation anxiety they got me in a room where my spouse and my baby could stay with me for recovery. I was so amazed they were willing to do this. The staff here is seriously amazing!!

My husband went in for a kidney stone and the ER doctors and nurses were awesome. They took care of his pain and made him comfortable. Wait times for blood work and CT we’re not bad. We were in and out with quality care in about 3 hours and 30 min.

DO NOT COME HERE if you enjoy good customer service. Sure there may be good customer service in some departments. I have been coming here for various reasons over a few years. NOW I am writing a review because this place has morphed in to a chop shop of sorts. The goals have changed over a short amount of time. It seems like now they are trying to churn out more of us numbers then develop relations with we the PEOPLE.

I had my second baby there. Very good experience. No problems. The ER has been good as well when we were there a few times over the years....both for myself and little kids... I'm glad it's here close.. We haven't had problems with anybody or anything  anytime we have been there.
