I sent my bike in to get a tube and tire.  Got a call from the shop assistant to see what kind of tire i wanted.  I didn't like their selection for the prices, so i asked him to just keep the old tire on and replace the tube inside.  3 days later i went in to pick my bike up; the owner charged me 20 bucks and when i went to wheel my bike out, i noticed the tube wasn't pumped up.  I got home, tried to pump it up and realized it was the old tube with the hole in it.  I called the shop the next day and got the run-around from the owner about how once you leave the shop theres no guarantee etc. etc.
I wanted to patron the local neighborhood shop, but there are two good, bigger stores right down on main street who are much more professional and honest.

wow. The owner is incredibly rude and racist. While i was waiting in line, there was an African American couple in front of me, he was charging them $200 to replace one pedal and a seat. Then he suddenly just ignored them, and asked me "what do you want?", I said "can you replace the fluids on the rear breaks, and how much it costs?" his response was "go and check on YouTube how to do it, it's all hard labor" he ignored me immediately and started talking again to the couple. I just left. Number one douche bike shop owner.

Had a great experience here. I came with my kiddos and their bikes. They only needed minor adjustments but I don't have the tools or knowledge to do it myself. My son's bike needed the chain fixed.Bill brought my son (8 yo) around the counter and let him "help" fix his own bike chain. At the end he charged me 10$ for everything, and gave all the kids high fives. It's clear that this is a store that puts customer service first, and where cyclists of all ages are welcome. I've raved about this place since.

This is a high end bike shop for people who are professional cyclists. If you fit this description then you might have a better experience than I did. When I entered I was not greeted by the employee behind the desk. I asked him about the bikes and gave him my price range. He told me the lowest price they had was $400. He did not explain the features of the bike or even try to sell it. If he made a convincing pitch then I may have been willing to spend more than  my original price range. However, he seemed very uninterested in talking to me.
