Story

The Bates family invites you to come and enjoy our farm on our 100-acre ranch. Our Farm Zoo is open daily from 9am - 5pm. Visit with mini-donkeys, goats, sheep, llamas, pigs, emus, chickens, peacocks, ducks, geese & more! The animals love visitors, and will eat from your hands. Bags of animal feed can be purchased for $0.50; admission is free. Open year round.

The Bates retail store offers a wide variety of nuts, candies, gourmet treats, fudge, gifts, and décor, including many local brands. Or shop for women’s accessories, gifts, clothing, and home décor at Farmer’s Daughter.

We have events year round including our Pumpkin Patch, Easter Egg Hunt, Arts & Crafts Fairs, Antiques, Collectibles & Crafts Markets, Fine Art Fairs, Car Shows and many more! I have gone to this place for 20 years someone was getting married today when we were there. The store is bigger than I've seen any place else has so many interesting and fun things and delicious things you can buy and I love the farmer's daughters store and there's all kinds of picnic benches and animals you can show the little children and at certain times of the year they have craft and antique shows and many many other kinds of shows. The best is to see it November when you see all the pumpkins in the field it's just beautiful.

Great place for the family to visit! They host a few things through out the year and regardless of the subject matter it's always a nice way to get out and see what some local businesses have to offer. The have animals you can feed, a store where there some nice treats and an area you can just sit down and enjoy the weather. The pumpkin patch is by far the biggest attraction so be prepared if you decide to make it out in the fall.

A very fun and exciting place to visit. They have a large assortment of animals who are possibly rescues there. You can buy Grain to feed the chickens ducks and goats. They're very fun to interact with. They have a llama, peacock, emu, cow. they also sponsor car shows and craft shows that are really different and unique. The store sells fabulous foods and gift items at really reasonable prices.

This is a great place to get away from the city. During the week can be pretty quiet here. The weekends can be busy and even more busy when they're having a weekend event. The most popular season is around Halloween when they have their pumpkins. Their is a petting zoo, more of a chance to feed the animals than actually being able to pet them. Their is the main store and a smaller store here. Also, a couple small picnic areas

Nice place to visit with lots of activities there year round. Last one I went to was truck and food festival but only around 15 trucks and about 100 or more cars, plus only 2 places to eat with lines and mediocre food so the title of the "festival" was a bit misleading in my opinion. Either call them or speak with someone who has been to an event there if you want to make sure of what you are driving up there for. Great selection of nuts, dried fruits and some candy, honey, etc. year around
