The hospital was great. The staff were beyond great, and all worked so hard to take care of us during our stay. Our doctor was patient and gave us great care and time, and the nurses genuinely felt like friends (and worked their tails off to help us any way they could!)
 I loved everything about the experience, except the food that showed up in our room every day. It was honestly the worst hospital food I have ever had. I had to go down to the cafeterias, which did have pretty good options (fresh sushi, fresh breakfast tacos, chick-fil-a express, fruit, salad, and more). I was still bummed that we had to go buy food because the food that was provided to us in our rooms was so bad.

Avoid this hospital! It has a complex and predatory payment system. I have good insurance and used the emergency room and paid my bill from Baylor University Medical Center. A year later, my credit score fell a hundred points. It turned out a subcontractor within the hospital billed $20 separately, then outsourced the bill to a collections agency, which blew it up to $400, and then attacked my credit score. Although the subcontractor sent a bill in the mail, I assumed it was a phishing scheme since I had already paid Baylor University Medical Center and did not want to give my credit card information away to a fraudulent firm that I did not recall receiving services from. However, I finally paid the $400 and several hundred dollars to a law firm to remove this item from my credit record, but they were only able to remove this claim from just one of the three credit agencies. If you use this hospital, you will never know what you actually owe, because Baylor University Medical Center will give all your personal information to its subcontractors, but neither Baylor nor its subcontractors will clearly communicate how much you owe.

I wasn't expecting this hospital to be terrible but I didn't have too high expectations. Figured it would be an average hospital. I didn't like the parking prices to start off, but as it turns out, it was superb, beyond expectations. My grandpa was not expected to live much longer. We were planning for end of life care and transition into a hospice or dying at home. Instead, he had surgery and was able to pull through, and he is expected to make a full recovery. The surgeon was polite to us and told us he thought of calling it off, that it was one of the most difficult surgeries he did, but he and his team persisted and persevered and managed to pull off the seemingly impossible. The criticism on these reviews I have read seem so petty compared to this. They saved his life, and even if he dies sometime in the near future from old age, he has time he didn't expect to have. None of us expected to have. These surgeons are damn good at what they do. They deserve the full 5 stars I am giving.

I had my baby here 4 years ago and even though I was scared because It was my first child and I had no idea what to expect, the entire staff was wonderful!! They made me feel safe ever since I got to the hospital and throughout my entire stay. I am so glad I delivered here, I think every baby should be born here and all Mommy's should go through a pleasant experience just as I did. Thank god for Baylor and for each and everyone who was so caring and kind with me and my baby. I'm expecting baby number 2 and I am planning on giving birth here again, it is the best hospital in my opinion.

We spent a week and a half here the staff is super and the nurse's made us feel right at home! They did what ever it took to make our stay more comfortable😘
