I'm about 11 weeks pregnant, I had a threatened miscarriage, I went to Dallas regional medical center, obviously to the emergency room. I walked in and they gave me a paper to fill out, I was in so much pain that I didn't want to sit down so I stood by the front table and the woman , very rudely, told me to get away from the table and sit down. I didn't like it at all. After filling out the paper, I sat waiting for 4 hours, keep in mind I'm pregnant and in much pain. When they finally took me to my room, my blood pressure was getting very low & they wouldn't let me eat for 3 hours, even though I hadn't ate since breakfast, so in total I hadn't ate for 7 hours and I was starving, I do not recommend going there at all. Employees are rude, they're attending is horrible. I wouldn't go back there again.

This hospital should've shut down. They truly lack the care and consideration of each individual. They will leave you to die if it's possible. I have never been to a hospital I had to wait 3 hours just in the waiting room in the condition I was in. Well period I just have never done it. The staff could care less weather you leave or stay or even about your wellbeing. Someone needs to bull dose this place. I hate I had to step foot in that hell hole; not to mention I'm no better than I was before I stepped foot in there.

I moved to Dallas during my 35th week in pregnancy. I had a hard time finding a doctor that would take me. My insurance found Dr Constantine who had good reviews. After finding he delivers here, I was nervous after seeing the reviews rated so low. I had to remind myself that most reviews were for the emergency room and most people leave reviews after they've had a bad experience. Looks can be deceiving. This is a small hospital. It doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles that some bigger hospitals offer, but it has everything you need. I showed up to the labor and delivery unit already dilated to 8cm. I was nervous that I wouldn't get an epidural in time. The anesthesiologist came in quick and was able to give the epidural quickly. As soon as it was given, my water broke and baby was ready to make an entrance. The nurses were amazing, breathing with me the whole way. Recovery was good. All nurses were friendly and eager to help with whatever I needed. I would recommend this hospital for labor and delivery.

The absolute worst medical experience of my life. There were several great nurses and employees who were all planning on leaving and there were more that were rude, uncaring and downright incompetent. I was in excruciating pain and was ignored for hours on end. The ambulance driver recommended them, I should hav known better. My insurance company paid them and then they sent me a bill that translated to over $15,000 per day. The billing office will not return calls. The food was inedible, I lost 15 pounds in 10 days that was the only good thing about it. Avoid this hospital at all costs.

This review is for the women's center (labor and delivery) I have no idea why the ratings for this hospital are so low. Perhaps they are skewed by other departments because labor and delivery was a fantastic experience for my wife and I during the birth of our child. Nurses were very attentive, friendly, and did everything they could to help calm the nerves of a first time mom and dad. Only constructive feedback would be less nighttime visits (especially after working for 3 hours to get baby to fall asleep!) But in all fairness they have jobs to do and need to make sure baby is healthy at all times. Bottom line, you're in good hands if you chose to have a baby at this hospital. They played a huge role in making our first childbirth experience a very positive one!
