OUR HISTORY
Beau Monde' Salon & Spa Inc. opened in Waynesville, NC in 1963. Sharon Walls began working in the salon in 1990. Realizing her passion for the industry and the salon's potential, she purchased the salon the same year and began to fulfill her vision.
Sharon recognized a shift in the industry. Leaders in the industry began to focus on education and ever changing trends and began to treat their salon as a professional environment. Her vision was to follow that model and create an atmosphere friendly to career minded stylists by providing education and the best professional products. Partnering with Redken and immersing the salon in Redken education has enabled Sharon to provide her sylists with all the tools they need to grow and stay on top of trends.
The stylist of Beau Monde' are friendly and warm, providing the latest styles. From the beginning Sharon has required her stylists to pursue education and growth and stay on top of the hair styling industry. She has worked with her stylists, sharing her expertise and experience and providing education from Redken's leading educators, insisting on punctuality while providing opportunities for a life long career. Her dedication to her staff has established the salon which she envisioned. A place where fashion and family meet.
