Recently moved from Florida to Tennessee. We chose the Beltmann Group for our move and were extremely happy we did! The move from Florida was flawless. The workers were on time, cautious, and courteous! The driver was a professional in every way. When our belongings were delivered the experience was the same...no complaints! Also, the quoted cost never changed which is a plus!! I would highly recommend the Beltmann Group to anyone preparing to move. I actually contacted our sales person and told him how satisfied we were and would use them again in the future!

If I could give Beltmann North American 0 stars, I would. We moved from FL to CT with Beltmann North American in January 2018. At the start, things seemed fine but when they actually took possession of our belongings, things went terribly wrong. A salesperson came to our house to do an estimate. She was professional and very convincing. She gave us a good rate and an acceptable delivery window. The move coordinator also seemed to be professional and organized. The day before the move, the packers came. They were rowdy and unprofessional. I walked in on one of them telling another packer he was going to take one of my belongings. Another time my husband saw one of them milling around our garage. The two male packers were rude and disrespectful to the lead packer. When we arrived many of the boxes had items thrown haphazardly into them and were a mess. The next day the driver showed up on time and packed the truck. However, once everything was loaded into the truck he told us that he would be unable to make the delivery window that was given in our contract. He said he "would make it up to us." We received a call from the move coordinator on the third day of our delivery window saying that the driver "hit bad weather" and wouldn't be there for another 7-10 days (which was not guaranteed, by the way). He didn't hot bad weather...he knew all along that he was never going to make it on time! I was upset and so the move coordinator sent me to North American Customer Care who were evasive and unhelpful. We called 3-5 times daily for updates on where our belongings were and when we would receive them. They told us that they couldn't get in touch with the driver (he must have not been answering phone calls?). One time someone told me the truck was still in FL (2 weeks after they picked up our stuff) and then an hour later the truck was in NC....they were giving us the run-around. We finally received our belongings 4 days after the window in our contract ONLY because we called incessantly every single day. We were told that our belongings would arrive in the morning on a Saturday, so we should be ready to receive them at 8am. We were there at 8am and didn't hear from the driver until 11am who said he would be there between 2-3pm. He showed up at 4:30pm, refused to perform the unpacking service that we paid for ($300) and told us we would get a refund (which we never received). He told us that he never intended to make the deliery window because he, "would have paid for the move himself." Not my problem - talk with your sales dept.! He broke a lamp, ripped a slipcover to an expensive chair and one box is still missing and NA is denying the claims to reimburse us. So, in addition to spending over $5k on this move, we are out another $800 for lost and damaged items.

We called North American Van lines & got Beltmann. Rep (older gentleman, super nice) seemed great, I trusted him & after committing to them, it was AWFUL! He promised I'd deal with him the entire time- No! I was passed on & they kept dropping the ball, NON-STOP! I had to call to remind them of moving date over & over again & they tried to delay move NIGHT BEFORE! We purchased heavy duty plastic bins ($300 worth!) to protect clothing, valuables, etc. since we knew our stuff would be in storage for 2 weeks. The movers stacked up things so poorly that most bins cracked, broken items, antique dining room set was DUCT TAPED W/ random items- stripped dining room table, missing piece from dining room table base! They also flat out LOST PIECES of furniture- so I have table top, but no base. Our 2nd movers we hired were speechless- they said it was poorly done, they made us get 2nd storage unit we didn't even need. They were in shock of broken items, they were PISSED & it wasn't even their own belongings! I immediately contacted the sales rep and he quickly push me off to somebody else, which then passed me on to another department, which then sent me to about 50 pages of paperwork that I need to fill out and submit photos for each item with receipts of my purchases = made it IMPOSSIBLE to file a claim. We hired a small local company before that was bad & cheap--not good, BUT Beltmann Group BY FAR was the worse company!!! I read bad reviews day before we moved & had gut feeling maybe I just needed to call other companies we got quotes from, I even called rep & expressed concern & the rep insisted don't judge reviews- everyone gets bad reviews, he reassured me they'd care for our stuff.. I felt trapped & proceeded w/ plans w/ them... HUGE, huge, HUGE mistake! Don't do it! Months later I'm still sick to my stomach how bad they screwed us, ruined our stuff & important family items are missing or severely damaged. Good luck w/ your move & trust your gut: TRUST THE REVIEWS- they're awful!!! Don't use BELTMANN!!

Our first time moving with professionals, and these guys were great. No issues from the company even though we had to reschedule several times. They picked us up the day before Thanksgiving, and did a great job loading all our stuff. Delivery was flawless, the two men who brought everything were both friendly and very professional. If we ever move again we will definitely use Beltmann.

The whole experience was wonderful. The representative that worked up the quote was very experienced and professional. His estimate was spot on. No surprises upon delivery. The packers were fast, friendly, and most of all careful with all our possessions. The guys that loaded and unloaded the truck were also friendly and careful. I would definitely use these guys again.
