Perfectly nice park, love the landmarks and information about it's history. Nice area for kids to play, lots of seating too. Only complaint is people let their dogs off leash which is not allowed. I can't take my dog there anymore, just because we've had so many incidents with off leash dogs. Other than that, very nice park.

So much in such a small space! A complete NYC park with green space, Manhattan schist, modern playground, age-old trees, and a little space for blacktop activities. Oh, and a charming subway stop.

Great respite in upper Manhattan. Small but quiet and well-maintained park. Not as much grilling and loud music as some of the other local parks (thank God). Sign says explicitly that dogs are not allowed but that rule is neither followed nor enforced.

Bennett Park is nice place to sit down for a minute. It's also the highest point in Manhattan, which is neat. It's filled with history. It also has plenty of benches to sit on and relax or read. There is a nice playground for children

Great neighborhood park. Smallish grassy area, paved open space for games, and an enclosed playground with a water feature in summer. Has baby swings and several slides and climbing paths. In summer, has restrooms available for use.
