Just an amazing lovely huge park in the Inwood area of Manhattan. If you're up for a walk or a run it's safe & always busy, but not annoying busy, good busy. In the summer there's often plays & other fun things going on & all year round if you wish to take a good walk, you can make your way up to the Cloister's Museum which is a little piece of hidden magic that is really beautiful & free but a donation is suggested. It's a great park & the parks department is always riding around to clean, assist & to keep it safe. It's there & open to the public all year round & every season is good for photographs. Just go & enjoy!

A long, lonely, dark and cold place where you will lose yourself and find your soul. I went there for the first time during the first snowfall of 2017. I wandered for at least 2 hours. There were no people in 2 miles where I wandered. There was a beautiful emptiness in the whole place. Moreover I was listening to Depressive Suicidal Black Meta, and that made me feel I was in a deep woods of Norway. I am planning to go there again next week. If you love to walk alone, this place is for you. I recommend this park anytime.

Great area to walk, jog or just stare at the scenery. You can see the Palisades in NJ from here, as well as the GW Bridge. Ice floes on the Hudson in wintertime are common when it's really cold. The Cloisters museum is also up here. Great spot for some peaceful reflection.

Love this place to walk my dog. It’s the home of some of the best views in New York. Most people know Central Park but this park is one to be seen if you are in New York. You only need a couple hours to really enjoy it from end to end. There are a couple cafes nearby, lots of seating & overall huge trees that make you forget you are in NYC!

Love love love this place. I'm from Oregon originally, and this is where I go if I need to get back to my roots. Well maintained, great dog parks, just an awesome place to go to escape the city without ever leaving it.
