Doctor David Berndt is an amazing Doctor. He truly cares about his patients. He takes time with patients. He gives care and attention as it is needed. He is rare in this age of computerized medicine. The best Doctor I ever had! It is worth waiting to receive this type of personalized care.

I'm leaving the two star rating because the doctor himself is actually good. Seems experienced, but a pretty nice guy. I would have liked to keep him as a doctor. The problem (and a really big one) is the way the office is run. I've had to make arrangements at work to get an appointment with him, only to get there and find out that it was "rescheduled" without telling me. Very frustrating. Despite being a small place, the wait list here is really long, and it would be another two months to get an appointment.

Dr Gerald Safier retired and left the people of Davie with a mess. The front desk office people are the worst. Several times they were given insurance information and can not process it properly. I am being sent to collections when my insurance will cover it. The one doctor , was ok and may have been a good doctor but this place is a mess and needs to be shut down. When I called over there a young girl threaten me I would never speak to a doctor and the office manager would just take her side. so just alone. I was going to make a apt so I could make the doctor aware but I just changed doctors after 32 years . I was told to come at 9am for blood work after a 12 hour fast and waited until 11am I was told only one girl was able to take blood and she was on her way... After going to the window The smart ass girl said , she had a emergency and was not coming after all. When did she find this out??? 2 hours before and left me waiting. This office needs to be cleared and and people hired that care. including the so called manager who is protecting her friends or it will be gone soon. This office will be closed soon. I have been in Davie 40 years and know a lot of people all have gone to other doctors. as far as Dr Safie may he rot in hell , he allways said he would he would sell out to a good doctors. He sold out to the worst possible people he could..

Poor front desk staff. No urgency when answering the phone. It's normal for them to put on hold for 40-50 min. You can see them eating at the front desk. At some point the front desk person was taking a nap while patients waiting. The nurse is not using gloves when taking blood. Some of the blood taking equipment is reused, not sure if tats ok but I never seen it at other cabinets before. They will not follow up with you on results from blood work. Office is not busy but still you can not get appointment earlier than 3 weeks.
