Story

Michele and her husband David opened Berries and Birch Flowers, Gifts & Home Decor in September 2013. Michele studied modern floral design at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh PA. The company was formed on the dynamic combination of passion and dreams. Passion for the artistry in flowers, passion for quality, passion for excellence in customer service; and a dream to one day be the best at everything they do. Michele remains true to the philosophy that if you give something your best, try your hardest and offer the highest quality (in every aspect), then failure is simply not possible.

The end product was a beautiful arrangement for my aunt's funeral, but getting there was a different story. It was to be a nosegay with a card - but I was told the arrangement was "too small" for any type of card and that nobody gets cards for those. The arrangement was a nice size and, thankfully, my mother had a card with her that we easily attached to the arrangement. The main issue was their delivery person. The flowers were delivered to the funeral home without any documentation - not my name, not the deceased name or the florist's name. The funeral home had put the arrangement in the back to wait for someone to ask for missing flowers as they had multiple viewings going on. Again - the flowers were beautiful and when I called asking where my flowers were they seemed concerned but no compensation was offered for the trouble I went through. For the price I paid I wouldn't expect such issues with the delivery or card.

A beautiful flower, gift, home decor shop. Michelle and Lauren were great, exceptionally helpful. Great unique gifts, I will be,returning often.

Highly recommended for both fresh flowers and silk arrangements! Michele created an beautiful silk arrangement for my dining room - high quality and customized to be the perfect compliment to my decor. Service is exceptional and the shop has great gift ideas!

Michelle and her staff do amazing and beautiful work . I have used her shop for more than 5 years. Im always extremely satisfied . I HIGHLY recommend Berries and Birch !

Been there once, arrangements are mediocre at best, prices aren't all that to talk about, but I do have an issue with a condescending attitude that was presented, do not disrespect people, you may not think they don't know, but people can tell. Just an Un-Biased opinion.
