As with all Best Buy stores, I wish the employees would back off a bit. It’s the one thing I don’t like about going. Sometimes it’s nice to just be able to look around. Nonetheless, the guy was super nice and it was a pleasant experience overall. Got the laptop I wanted!

Service is always friendly. They usually have whatever it is we are looking for whenever we go. Their payment options are convenient  when paying for high ticket items.

My recent experience at Best Buy in Oklahoma City was excellent. The associates were very helpful and answered my questions to my recent purchase. I would recommend this store and the others in the area which I did visit and have made a couple of purchases. I will continue to shop at Best Buy in the future.

I went to buy a laptop after my 8-year-old CPU tower died. I got excellent help from a man named Vincent in the computer department. He showed me laptops of varying prices and was frank about when more money would get me substance and when it would just buy bells and whistles. He did a good job asking me questions to determine what my needs are. We even looked at monitors that have the computer combined. He showed me a laptop on sale, software and other things that I'd need that were on sale, and he wound up saving me almost $400.00. 

I'm always cautious about buying insurance, aka a Greek Squad contract, but did so for one year because I knew I'd have to bring the dead CPU back to transfer the data to the new laptop. The Geek Squad folks were very busy, and Best Buy needs to better staff that part of the store. But the Greek Squad guy who helped me, Cameron, was quite competent and patient with a customer (me) who still uses an abacus.

Best Buy has many advantages, but as with all large bureaucracies, is not perfect. However, I felt comfortable buying the laptop and all the doo-dads to make it fully functional.

If you're going there to make a small purchase like a printer, you'll get a good deal - probably as good as Walmart. If you need more high tech help, Best Buy is definitely the better choice. There is lots of turnover of employees, so I looked for someone to help me who didn't appear to be a 20-year-old student. I don't mean to disparage students, but they often just don't know the bureaucracy and inventory as well.

I'm quite pleased with my purchase 2 weeks ago. I've already had to call the Greek Squad folks a couple of times to fill in gaps in my knowledge base. The help was friendly and I didn't feel rushed. 

You can pay more or less for computers and electronics than those at Best Buy, but if you are satisfied with mid-level equipment that is not top of the market, you can find a good variety and helpful employees at Best Buy.

Had a little problem exchanging a monitor but the manager worked it out with us. He remained professional, calm and polite the entire time. Everyone at the store was great.
