Great night sleep, good hot water with pressure. Breakfast was hot & good to start us on our way. We did our laundry in the morning before heading out. Just a note they do close the laundry room for certain hours at night so adjust your schedule if needed. The staff working the night shift was friendly & made us feel very welcomed on arrival. They not only made small talk but joked with us & understood after being on the road for 10+ hours who knows what will lighten ones mood.

Very nice motel. Super friendly staff. Large room. Accommodating when I changed reservation 3 times.  Hot tub and small pool in separate building. Across street from affordable food choices - not great quality but fast and good enough.

I stayed here two nights in Sept 2017. Really nice place BUT bathroom was infested with ants. As if that wasn't unpleasant enough, I called to front desk to find a resolve and the desk clerk replied "I'm sorry but that's what you get in California, when it rains they come inside there's nothing we can do" I'm born and raised In California and I have certainly never encountered this as a problem, I assume he was trying to insult my intelligence. His disregard for my problem was astonishing. There is 10 other hotels on this street, I would recommend staying in one that actually addresses problems not ads to them....

I have stayed at the Arcata Inn many times.  Comfortable rooms, quiet location, beautiful grounds, great staff.  Having checked alternative locations nearby, Best Western Arcata wins every time.

Could not have been better! 
Everyone was so friendly - staff and other guests.
Location was great: convenient to freeway, restaurants, bank, and all travel necessities. 
Room was super, super clean.
I was pleasantly surprised to get a free room upgrade.
And let's have a moment of silence for the office cookies. Seriously, so darn good. Warm, texture was perfect, and lots of chocolate chips.
We were traveling with our dog and they made everything so easy.  They even gave us a fun welcome gift for him.
We're staying at Best Western in another city tonight. It's fine, but honestly doesn't come close to BW-Arcata.
