I usually stay at the Clarian a few streets down when I'm in Eureka. The Red Lion is nice. The staff is super friendly, there's plenty of parking. I noticed they have chairs to assist people who ate in wheelchairs into the pool or hot tub. That's the first I've seen at any hotel I've stayed at.

Do not go here under any circumstances. There's NO security in the parking lot. No cameras no nothing. Was parked in the front parking lot within view of the lobby. Had a very expensive bike stolen of my van. Cut locks. That takes a little time. Will have my company never book there again

We arrived really late and were lucky enough to get a bigger room. Seriously worth it! Great room with plenty of room. It is as if they new most of their guests are going hiking with a bunch of gear. The TV wasn't working in the guest room but that is alright since we were only there for a few hours.

Nice rooms and friendly staff. The front desk guy, Zach, needs a raise. He went over and above to make sure we were taken care of during our stay. Staci in the restaurant was very accommodating and very kind. Stay here just for the staff.

Our room is cold, damp and has obviously not been used for a while. The worst aspect is the heater. It sounds like a subway train about to enter the room. The heating lights in the chilly bathroom do not work and the extract vent has not seen a hoover in years.
We are staying as part of a tour group and I will be feeding back my unhappiness in the strongest of terms. This is our 3rd Red Lion and most definitely the worst.
