The Redwood Lily is a small Eco-Hostel style Guesthouse located in Arcata on California's North Coast.

Story

Welcome to the Redwood Lily Guesthouse, Arcata's only Eco-Hostel. Our goal is to provide engaging accommodations during your stay on California's Redwood Coast. We work hard to leave a positive mark on the environment, our local economy and the adventures of our guests. We offer beds with all organic sheets and pillowcases, and maintain the space with hypoallergenic cleaning products made on-site. We can provide private rooms as well as single or double beds in co-ed shared hostel spaces. We hope you will come stay with us and let us be your gateway through the redwood curtain.

As an Eco-Hostel we work to balance the comfort of our guests with our responsibility to the natural environment and the socio-economic community around us. This comes through our use of low-impact and organic products, supporting and promoting local businesses and acting as a connection between our guests and the Arcata community. From The Lily you will be able to walk to local restaurants, natural grocers, new and used bookstores, the post office, banks, the community pool, Crabs baseball games, Humboldt State University and the natural history museum. Arcata's Redwood Forest and bird watching trails on the Humboldt Bay are only a short walk from our front door. On a rented bike you can easily ride out to sand dunes and have nearly deserted beaches all to yourself!

In an effort to encourage alternative modes of transportation, we are proud to offer a 15% discount to anyone arriving by bicycle! We have on-site secure bike parking and some basic repair tools.
