Upon arrival we were told there were no handicapped rooms available. However, the front desk did get us a handicapped room. At breakfast the hostess asked what my wife wanted to eat and promptly got it for her. The room cleaners were also excellent and got us extra towels upon request. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Rooms were remodeled and very clean as were the other areas in the hotel.

Friendly staff and nice clean rooms. They had continental breakfast served from 6-9 am. Good assortment of food. They had eggs, sausage and potatoes in warmers, plus fruit, coffee, juice, soy and regular milk. For quick breakfast options they had cereal, oatmeal, waffle machines, and bagels. Located right outside Camp Pendleton base.

Stay was relatively nice, until I needed something from the front desk and no one was there. “Be back in 10 minutes” is a nicety, not so much an accurate measure of time. It wouldn’t bother me so much but priding yourself on 24 hour service is a lie when I can’t get something simple at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. The worst offender of my trip was locking the doors behind me during breakfast. I understand the hotel doesn’t want anyone after 10 am on Saturday’s to come in and eat, but for the rest of the diners inside this is a huge safety hazard. If a fire breaks out in the kitchen, how will anyone get out and get to safety? Even the side exit had a locked fence in the way so I couldn’t get out that way. I had to wait for one of the workers to let me out. In an emergency, this type of thing gets people killed. I’ll be advising friends and family to stay elsewhere.

The hotel is showing it's age a bit in terms of internal decor and the like. The bathrooms feel a bit old, but the shower was clean and the tub updated. Everything else was clean and cared for. All the rooms are non smoking which is appreciated. My room was a king bed, with microwave and mini fridge. It also had a balcony that you could go out onto -it's a rare opportunity to open a window in hotels, no less to have a balcony or patio. Staff was friendly and accommodating; I asked for a late check out to have enough time to return after a morning running event, and they worked with me for an acceptable time. Plenty of parking, and quiet so far as I noticed. Easy access to the freeway, and minutes from dining and shopping options. Exactly what I was looking for - affordable, clean, comfortable.

Very nice hotel. Close to the freeway for convenience but no noise. Good breakfast, pool and fitness center. Bigger room than I expected but maybe that was my rewards points. Very friendly staff.
