Was a great location, great room, great view. Didn't like the timeshare sale pitch pressure we said no not interested when picking up our parking pass. We only had two nights there and wanted to relax at the beach. After some time at the beach we went back to our room and got a phone call asking if the a manager and the person on the phone could come up to our room to talk about the timeshare information. Again we said no it made us go out until 7:00pm because the sales staff were off. Check in is at 4:00pm and check out is at 10:00 am. We just wanted a quiet holiday. Time at this hotel is short we wanted to enjoy the property. We felt a little uncomfortable thinking we would get another call. Again it has a great location, great room, great view.

Stayed here several times. In a deluxe studio once ,,, huge and very nice but in back by noisy train. Stayed in a 2 bedroom twice, once with a nice side ocean partial view with a balcony - an awesome experience. Another time in another 2 bedroom by the pool ...not the best but still nice. We love the Oceanside pier resort we love how everything is so close by and we can walk anywhere! I want to continue to come for years to come!

Stayed here for the Oceanside Surf Clubs surf contest back in August of 2016, so time delay. It's a block from the beach and very nice by my standards, I am a surfer who sleeps on the beach, and in the back of trucks so for me it's plush. Our room was small, and had a beautiful view of the parking lot and nearby railroad tracks. The pool is up on the roof which might be cool, it's not, besides the beach is a block away, "but Dad that's so far!" The continental breakfast is sweet so hit it early, "don't even think of cutting in on me in the waffle line!" Be prepared to pay valet parking, and bang your longboard awkwardly in the elevator, hallways, and closets uh I mean rooms.

It was so much fun. We went for spring break. My son is 7 and it was raining on the day we went, the staff was super friendly and they are kid friendly. They were playing movies, had popcorn, freshly baked cookies, bingo. The works. We will definitely go there again, I recommend checking it out for yourself.

This was once our home resort and it is wonderful. Freeway close and nestled in a sweet spot for getaway vacationing. Plenty of restaurants and entertainment within driving and/or walking distance. Pool deck has a great view at sunset. If you are fortunate to get a beach-side room, the ocean sounds and breeze can be enjoyed from your balcony. If you are train savvy, the station is two blocks away.
